That’s why we arrange accommodation in select Oxford colleges, giving scholars an authentic Oxford summer school experience. Our Scholars live and learn in historic college settings that combine comfort, tradition, and academic excellence, creating the perfect environment to study, socialise, and grow.
St Hugh's College
Founded in 1886 by Elizabeth Wordsworth, St Hugh’s College is renowned for its beautiful gardens, inclusive spirit, and distinguished alumni, including former UK Prime Minister Theresa May and Nobel Peace Prize laureate Aung San Suu Kyi. Its serene, historic setting offers the perfect home for scholars during their time with us.
St Anne's College
Founded in 1879, St Anne’s is one of Oxford’s largest colleges, with five acres of scenic grounds, that create a serene yet vibrant environment. Accreditations
Accredited by the British Accreditation Council (BAC) and the British Council, and recognised by the Good Business Charter (GBC), OSP’s summer school upholds internationally recognised standards of academic and pastoral excellence. Students receive an NCFE Level 3 qualification worth 8 UCAS points and, through OSP’s Institute of Leadership-approved programme, become eligible to apply for Associate (AIoL) Membership — with successful applicants gaining access to internationally recognised digital credentials and the AIoL post-nominal letters after their name. Each year, parents share how OSP has inspired confidence, independence, leadership and personal growth in their children, reaffirming the trust that defines our global community.

How is OSP related to University of Oxford?
OSP independently hires facilities from the University of Oxford and engages educators who teach at the university. However, it operates independently and is not affiliated with or endorsed by the University of Oxford as a pre-college summer program.
Who teaches the course at OSP?
All courses in this pre-college summer program at OSP are taught by top academics, researchers, and industry professionals from world-renowned institutions. This ensures that scholars benefit from world-class expertise and engaging, discussion-based teaching throughout their Oxford summer school experience.
Who looks after the scholars during the programme?
Scholar wellbeing is our top priority. At OSP, scholars are supported 24/7 by a team of dedicated Residential Advisors (RAs), Team Advisors, and Programme Staff. All team members undergo safeguarding training, are enhanced DBS checked, and are carefully selected for their experience in mentoring young people.
Will I have the opportunity to visit other places during the programme?
Yes! As part of this pre-college summer program OSP includes cultural excursions and day trips to iconic UK destinations like London. These outings are a fun and enriching part of your Oxford summer school experience.
How will I benefit from attending OSP?
Attending OSP helps you strengthen your university applications, gain real-world exposure through project-based learning, and develop life skills such as leadership, communication, and problem-solving.
You’ll gain in-depth knowledge of your chosen subject area by working with top academics and engaging in intellectually stimulating discussions. What kind of insurance do I need?
We highly recommend that all scholars attending this pre-college summer program have comprehensive travel insurance that covers medical treatment, travel delays, and personal belongings for the duration of the Oxford summer school.
Are parents allowed to visit during OSP?
Parents are welcome to drop off and pick up scholars on arrival and departure days. However, during the program itself, we encourage full immersion, and visits are not permitted in order to maintain the integrity of the scholar experience.
