Our teaching standard

What it takes to teach at OSP.

OSP is not looking for performers who simply deliver content. We look for people who can hold a high academic standard while making each scholar feel known, challenged and capable.

Academic depth

Bring subject expertise, but translate it with precision. Students should leave with clearer thinking, not just more information.

Active learning

Use questions, scenarios, critique and feedback. OSP works best when students participate, defend ideas and learn by doing.

Pastoral awareness

These are young scholars away from home. Staff need calm judgement, safeguarding awareness and the ability to spot when someone needs support.

The goal is not a polished two-week show. It is a scholar who leaves more confident, more directed and more responsible with their potential.
